There is a museum shop cafe on 6th Avenue and 23rd Street that I pass by several times a week. I thought it was a small cafe and passed it by for years. I don’t like coffee and don’t know how good it tastes.
Then, one day, someone told me a good museum was nearby, so I opened the door slightly, wondering if it was that place. When I opened the door, the museum was quite large and had a great atmosphere, contrary to its appearance. It was a poster museum that collected well-designed commercial or public posters from the modern and contemporary eras.
They happened to exhibit posters in the Art Deco style that started in Paris and was popular in Europe and the United States in the 1930s. I was able to fully experience the style and taste of the 1930s.
